St. Paul's Praise Teams are led by Donna Wilkerson (East Campus)
The Praise Team leads in worship each Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. service at the East Campus. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. East Campus. St Paul's 9:00 a.m. Downtown Campus Service is lead by a dedicated group that rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. See Tom East for more details.
The St. Paul Chancel Choir leads in worship at the 8:30 a.m. worship service downtown. This traditional ensemble rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:15 p.m. In addition to singing each Sunday morning in worship, the choir also participates is worship for seasonal special services throughout the year and presents the Singing Christmas Tree each Christmas. There is always a place in the choir for singers!!
The LessyeMoore Handbell Choir meets September-May on Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the bell room (behind the sanctuary) downtown. Members of the bell choir are east campus and downtown worshipers. The bell choir plays seasonally in worship services and on the Singing Christmas Tree Program. Those interested in playing bells should be able to read and count music. The Christmas Choir meets on Monday evenings at 6:45 p.m. October-December each year. This 70 member ensemble is joined by the Lessye Moore Handbell choir and orchestra to present the Living Singing Christmas Tree program each year. Choir members come from all three St. Paul worship services as well as singers from the community.
The Ocean Springs Chorale is an ecumenical choir whose members come from all along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The chorale presents a fall and spring concert and joins the Chancel Choir in presenting the Singing Christmas Tree. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings August-October and January-April in the sanctuary down town. Members are Methodist, Baptist, Episcopal, Lutheran, Catholic, and Presbyterian. Singers are welcome.
