Prayers

We Are Called To Pray

"For mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all ..."  Isaiah 56:7 NIV

The Prayer Ministry of Saint Paul UMC

Are you called to Pray?

God's word says he is looking for intercessors.

Will America be like Israel in Ezekiel's time? "And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge, and standing in the gap before me for the land, that l should not destroy it: but I found none" Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV)

Or will we be like Isaiah's day? "And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there were no intercessors." Isaiah 59:16 (KJV)

The Lord says: "If my people which are called by name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and forgive their sins, and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14

Who should pray for the lost and our leaders? "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all goodness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God, our Savior, who will have all men to be saved, and to come to knowledge of truth." 1 Timothy 2:14 ( KJV)
