Foreign Missions - Honduras
International Missions is a group of people from St. Paul that teamed up with Commissioned International, and this Summer they went to Santa Cruz, Honduras for a week.
While there, our medical mission’s team of over 50 people from churches in Mississippi, Texas, and Arkansas served:
1819 medical patients
170 dental patients (279 extractions!)
167 optical patients (74 prescription glasses, 164 reading glasses)
8,890 prescriptions filled!!
We also gave out:
1158 pairs of shoes
500 blankets
250 backpacks
$4000 worth of rice and beans
200-250 Bibles!
As well as:
completed construction of a new roof and fence at a church
hosted VBS with 279 kids and 19 salvations
visited a children's home
hosted church services and had
tons of home visits!
