Backpack Buddies started twenty years ago by two St. Paul members who saw a need to help food insecure students in Ocean Springs. We feed over 100 students every weekend during the school year and over the school holidays. St. Paul general funds, along with private donations, make it possible for us to continue our mission here at home. We pack every other Wednesday in the fellowship hall at East Campus and our youth group pack the Holiday packs on the Sunday evenings before Holiday breaks.
