The mission of The Lord Is My Help is to feed people through three ministries:
Provide Meals on Wheels to those in need of assistance
Operate a food pantry for those who are food insecure
Provide a hot meal to those in need
Meals on Wheels serves Ocean Springs and St. Martin, the food pantry serves West Jackson County, and the soup kitchen serves anyone who can come in and eat. Approximately 48,000 meals are served annually. St. Paul volunteers serve every other month for one week, with 25 volunteer slots available each week. Volunteers prepare the to-go boxes for Meals on Wheels, then serve the in-house meals at lunchtime. This is a great time of fellowship and serves a much-needed ministry to our community.
